I don't know about you, but I sometimes wonder how certain things are addictive. Take nasal spray addiction for instance. Who in the heck ever starts snorting nasal spray for kicks? It's just so bizarre and lame that it's difficult to fathom. Before we know it, people will be addicted to snorting Fun Dip. And then there's gambling. I see the appeal of the games, but I don't see how folks have trouble calling it quits. You'd think that once you won a large chunk of cash, you'd want out of there ASAP. The only thing on my mind would be taking the winnings and bolting. Well, one thing is for certain, gambling doesn't stop at the Vegas Blackjack table these days. It's understandable that people enjoy betting on their favorite teams. Maybe they're football fanatics and can't wait to see the Chicago Bears squash the Carolina Panthers. And there's a few different ways they can foul-up. One is by biting off more than they can chew. I will never be able to comprehend why someone would bet cash that they simply don't have. But, they definitely do so. Every day guys are betting far more than they could ever pay out, hence putting themselves further in debt. Not such a good plan if you ask me. Then there are the compulsive addicts. They gamble relentlessly, whether it's via online sports gambling websites or in Las Vegas for the weekend. The addiction becomes so strong that they can hardly compose themselves and move on. It's an addiction no one needs in their life.

My advice in general is to avoid online sports gambling. The word "gamble" says it all in my book. There are no sure things when it comes to tossing dice or playing cards. And there certainly aren't any absolutes when it comes to online sports gambling. You never know when your favorite team just may be off their game. This routine can put you in a hole that's difficult to climb out of.
